The Prince Edward islands are South African territory, but are considered a separate DXCC entity because of their distance from the mainland. The group consists of two islands, Prince Edward and Marion. As Prince Edward is uninhabited, Marion is the DXer’s only hope of a contact with this country.
Marion Island is home to a weather and research station. It is manned year-round, with crews staying for a year. The annual supply ship comes around April and stays for a few weeks to take care of resupply and base refurbishment. The trusty supply ship, SAS Agulhas, was retired in 2012, and replaced by the more modern and larger SAS Agulhas II. The new ship is a custom-built antarctic research platform, while the older ship was a generic light ice-breaker modified for antarctic research work.
• The island is administered by the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, the agency responsible for weather services in South Africa.

HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program has to be (at least for me) the most fascinating device on the planet. A source of much controversy, with stories of weather modification and earthquake warfaredominating the conspiracy rings, this page seeks to piece together a thorough understanding of this amazing facility, it’s capabilities, and it’s cousins.
The term HAARP is often misused (ie: HAARP rings) when well-meaning bloggers want to describe an electromagnetic weapon of great destructive consequence. In fact, there exists an array of electromagnetic weapons secretly deployed to make you think the climate is changing. Microwaves, radar interferometry, plasma mirrors, semi-conductive aerosols (chemtrails), earth tomography and satellite energy beams are a few examples. Most of these weapons are networked in a global matrix capable of tuning into most regions of the planet to inflict “climate change”. For example, we now have evidence that ionospheric heaters (like HAARP) have the ability to warm the arctic region using high energy electromagnetic radiation .(Source)
Chemtrails are sprayed to create a plasma medium in the atmosphere that reacts to electromagnetic radiation to achieve weather modification and much more. It’s more than curious that the Media and Global warming scientists fail to mention the weaponization of space and weather when calculating climate change. This is a good reason to doubt the validity of conclusions about greenhouse gases as adopted by the IPCC. It’s also a good reason to reject the arguments of the climate deniers who also use faulty conclusions to debunk their warmist adversaries. Failure of the Warmist/Denier duopoly to engage the huge issue of weather modification dooms both sides to irrelevance.
